Born in Norway, but live in Gothenburg, Sweden. She has worked with numerous orchestras and ensembles in several countries, such as co-principal in Norrlandsoperan, solo horn in Copenhagen Phil, co-principal Wermland Opera, 2nd horn Trondheim Symphony Orchestra, and many projects on shorter contracts with Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra, Gothenburg Opera, Gothenburg Wind Orchestra, Helsingborgs Symphony Orchestra, Jönköpings Sinfonietta, Swedish Chamber Orchestra, Aarhus Symphony Orchestra, Stavanger Symphony Orchestra, Norwegian Army Band, Norwegian Marine Band, Norwegian Air Force Band, Swedish Air Force Band, Swedish Marine Band, Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra, Norwegian Wind Ensemble, Dala Sinfonietta, Oscarsborg Opera among others.
Her career also includes work as playing as a soloist, in chamber music and taught or given masterclasses in a large number of projects, festivals and events, such as Citguad (Spain), Encuentro Internacional de Cornos (Chile), Carnaval du Cor (Germany) and this is her third year at Corno Brass Music Festival.
Through combining her music career with teaching her very own style of “yoga for musicians”, coaching and breathing technique, she has teached at academies like Colburn School of Music (Los Angeles, US), Guildhall School of Music and Drama (London, UK), Hochschule für Musik (Hannover, Germany) and very many more. Lene has given workshops and lectures for several professional ensembles and orchestras, and she has personal clients that range from very young students to world star soloists, conductors and musicians in for example Berlin Phil, LA Phil and Concertgebouw Orchestra.
